For Flint Insurance 2012 will mark the 7th year that they have been involved as a member of the awards judging panel for the BSIF Safety Awards. During that time David Taylor, Flint Director, has seen them grow in both number of entries and stature to what they represent today.
David commented: “2012 looks set to be an unusual year for the industry; we will start to see action following the government’s response to the Lofstedt review, this coupled with news of the increase in workplace deaths as reported by the HSE for 2010/11 and cuts to their budget all make for an interesting mix. However, let us not lose site of the fact that Britain still has an exemplary health and safety record.
“All of this points to an exciting year for the awards and I am very much looking forward to what 2012 will bring us in terms of new products and innovations.
