The Low Carbon and Environmental Goods and Services sector is a growing industry; forecast to increase in value by up to £45bn by 2015.
It includes businesses such as wind and solar power generation, energy generation from waste, recycling and waste management, environmental consultancy, land remediation and building technologies.
